Terms and Conditions 

Reservations

You will be able to arrive on site from 2pm on the day of your booked arrival and must be vacated by 12pm (midday) on the day of departure.

Bookings

We require all booking payments in full to secure your reservation. Bookings can be made through our own website (https://effordcamping.co.uk) or through a third part booking systems such as Pitchup. Third party booking systems have their own booking and cancellation policies...but they are not as good as ours!

Cancellation

Stuff happens in life that may cause you to have to cancel your booking with us. We will always try our best to accommodate your cancellation request subject to reason, cost, time and availability. If you need you need to cancel your holiday more than 2 weeks before you’re due to arrive then we will refund 100% of your booking. If you cancel between 7 and 14 days then we will refund 50% of your booking. Any cancellations within 7 days of your booking will not be refunded. We strongly advise that you take out your own holiday insurance. All cancellations must be put into writing.

Bookings during the COVID19 pandemic

Should your booked holiday be unable to commence due to reasons surrounding the COVID19 pandemic, any payment you have made is non-refundable unless our site is closed by the Government, or Government restrictions prevent you from travelling.

Number in Party

We allow a maximum of 6 people per pitch. If maximum occupancy is exceeded, then two pitches must be booked.

Tent Size

We do not allow tents over 8m in diameter (or length) on one pitch. Tents exceeding this size will require two pitches.

Weather

We regret the weather conditions are beyond our control and cannot refund any monies if you cancel your booking or reduce your stay due to the weather.

Vehicles

One vehicle is permitted per pitch. Additional vehicles can be paid for at the point of booking.

Pitch Types

All pitches offered are available without electricity, water or drainage. Please contact us for more information.

The decision of Efford Down Campsite on all the above will be final. Booking and payment constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions. We hope you have a luverly stay 🙂

Comments

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Who we share your data with

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data
