You will start your hire with a full tank of fuel so that you are ready to hit the road. You have unlimited amount of milage that you can use, however there is a 20p charge for ever mile that is covered over 750 miles per week.

We recommend that you book camp sites in advance of your hire. This will give you the security of knowing that you are booked in somewhere that is safe, secure and has facilities that you can access. If you do this as you go then you run the risk of camping places being booked (especially in peak season).

You can opt to ‘wild camp’ in the van. This is exciting but can throw up a few issues of being moved on in the middle of the night and not having access to things such as toilets and fresh water. The van holds 30 litres of water but with eating drinking and showering, this can get used up fairly quickly.

Pick up and drop off can be made at our Bude or Launceston depot. Both locations have free off-road parking for your vehicle for the duration of your hire. Bude is a seaside town with lots of shops, beaches and campsites. Our Launceston depot is right next to the A30 (Cornwall’s main vein), which great if you want to access the rest of Cornwall county.

Pick up will need to be after 2pm on your hire day. Your vehicle will be clean and ready for you with a full tank of fuel, gas and water.

Drop off will need to be by 11am on the last day of your hire. The vehicle will need to be clean and have a full tank of fuel on it’s return. You may return the vehicle not clean and without a full tank, however this will insure a charge in order to clean and fuel the vehicle.

Pick up and drop off from/to Exeter train station, Exeter Airport and Newquay Airport can be made. There is an additional fee of £85 for each pick up/drop off that will need to be made. Local pick up from Bude or Launceston Bus station or surrounding area (up to 5 miles) can be made free of charge.

Deposit will need to be paid 24 hours prior to your pick up (via a Paypal request) and any documentation will need to be completed prior to your pick up.

14 days following your the last day of your hire, you will receive your refund in full if there is no damage to the vehicle, speeding tickets or parking fines incurred during your hire. This will be refunded through Paypal.

At the point of booking you will be asked to pay a 25% deposit is needed when booking. The remainder of the balance will need to be paid no later than 14 days prior to the start day of your hire.

Your deposit is fully refundable up until 30 days prior to your booking. Between 30 and 14 days your deposit is 50% refundable and any less than 14 days prior to your hire start day, your deposit is non refundable

A £1000 security deposit is required 24 hours prior to the start day of your hire. This will be made through a Paypal request. Your deposit is refunded in full 14 days following the last day of your hire if there is no damage to the vehicle, speeding tickets or parking fines incurred.

We will send out a hire form for you to fill in 14 days prior to your hire start date. This will be sent to our insurers so that you are covered for the duration of your hire.
